Fabulous, easy berry cobbler
Use any combination of berries. This is a wonderful, summer picnic cobbler.

4-6 cups berries ( blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries.
You can use 2 combo bag of frozen berries)
6 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups sugar + 1 c sugar for toping
2 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cup boiling water
Directions
Spread berries in a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Cream butter and 1 1/2 cup sugar well.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Batter will be
thick. Use a spoon. Do not over mix.
Spread batter over berries.
Combine remaining 1 c sugar and cornstarch together then
sprinkle evenly over batter. (Add an extra 1/2 to 1
tablespoon of cornstarch to the remaining sugar for thicker
sauce).
Pour boiling water over all. Do not mix.
Bake at 350* for 50-65 minutes, until golden brown and
toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean. Serve warm
or at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream if
desired.
You can halve the recipe and bake in 8x8 square pan.
Decrease baking time by about 20 min.
